About the appointment...

An injury assessment & management appointment at ABC Performance Physio is based around a client’s specific injury or problem that may be presenting with.

On an initial assessment, a thorough bio-mechanical examination is carried out to assess where the pain may be rooted and the causes that contribute towards the pain. Throughout the appointment, posture, joint range of motion/quality, muscle length & strength are all assessed to identify any contributing factors towards a person’s pain/problem. Through the assessment design, any abnormalities and/or imbalances across the body can be identified, and a treatment plan can be designed based on the findings of the assessment.

Once an assessment has been completed, the appropriate treatment plan is followed using a wide variety of treatment techniques.

He’s very friendly and approachable and talks through everything about your history, what you’re looking for and he offers treatments that he can offer to help and assist.

I play football 3/4 times a week as well as running during the week and I attend ABC target treatments once a month to have sports massages targeted to my legs. This really helps me to continue playing sport and being active without sustaining injury and I highly recommend this place if you need any kind of massage or you have an injury, he also helps with rehabilitation and gives you the best exercises to help you recover as best you can

Alex is professional, knowledgeable, warm & welcoming; he has a very comfortable and well equipped treatment room, and he always makes me feel that he wants to do his best to make me feel my best. Just had my first visit. Alex explained all the exercises clearly and targeted the areas I was struggling with.

As a cycling I who admittedly doesn’t stretch I know it’s going to be a long round ahead to really get the flexibility I’m after. Looking forward to the next session all ready.
